Centralia
College
Historian E. Richard Hart and Tribal members, Mathew Dick
and Colleen Cawston, will be discussing the history of the
Wenatchis treaty rights struggle at Centralia College, in
Centralia Washington, on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 p.m..
The discussion will take place in the Education Conference
Building on campus. A short video on the Tribe's struggle

Washington
State University
in Pullman Washington will be sponsoring a screening of "False
Promises" on Monday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the
Senior Ballroom of the C.U.B. (Compton Student Union Building)
on campus, as part of their Native American Heritage celebration.
A discussion with Tribal members will follow the film. For

Island Museum Library Research Center
is sponsoring a free public screening of "False Promises"
on Wednesday, May 21st from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
at their facility located at SE 150 Kwuh-Deegs-Altxw in Shelton,

Sleeping
Lady Mountain Resort
on Icicle Road in Leavenworth Washington, is hosting a public
screening of "False Promises" on Thursday, June
12th at 7:00 p.m. to coincide with the first day of the Wenatchis
annual Pow Wow at the Leavenworth fish hatchery. Tribal leaders
and historian E. Richard Hart will be available to take questions

Seattle
Central Community College First Nations Student Council
sponsored a free public screening of "False Promises"
on Tuesday, April 15th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in room

Seattle
University
hosted a free public screening of "False Promises" on Thursday,
January 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Piggott Building Auditorium.

The
Wenatchee Valley Museum
opened a satellite branch at Chumstick Grange Hall, 621 Front
Street in Leavenworth. They showed"False Promises" on Tuesday,
October 29th at 7:00 p.m. with a question and answer period

Gonzaga University, the Office of Cultural
Diversity sponsored a free screening of "False Promises"
on Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00 p.m. Tribal Elder, Mathew
Dick (the great grandson of the last Chief of the Wenatchi's)
and historian, E. Richard Hart, took questions following the

The
Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture,
hosted their traditional "Coyote and Friends" Festival at
the Metropolitan Theater in Spokane on Saturday, November
2nd. Wenatchi Elder, Mathew Dick, told Coyote stories passed
down from his mother, Celia Ann, along with the history of
his people's treaty right's struggle. For more information
