The best way you can help is to contact your senators and representatives
in Congress. Here in Washington State, the senior contact would
be Senator
Patty Murray. You can also contact Senator Maria
Cantwell, Congressman George R. Nethercutt, Jr. (5th District),
and Congressman Doc Hastings (4th District). Thank them for
their support of the Wenatchi efforts to have their rights recognized
by the United States and ask them to continue, aggressively,
to seek a just settlement for the Wenatchi people. Because of
the events around 9/11 and problems with the US Mail, it may
be better to e-mail, phone or fax your message. Here is contact
